The major indices are all flat to start the week as everyone waits for the next round of inflation data via the Consumer Price Index coming later this week.
We also have a lot of companies set to report earnings like Arista Networks (ANET), Coca-Cola (KO), Airbnb (ABNB), Robinhood (HOOD), DraftKings (DKNG), Occidental Petroleum (OXY), Coinbase (COIN) and more!
Here’s a list of the expected moves higher or lower for companies reporting this week.
After this week, about 70% of the large-cap companies will be done.
We also have the aforementioned CPI report coming at 8:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, and then Retail Sales at the same time on Thursday before the Producer Price Index on Friday.
The bond market (TLT) is still in the same range and I believe we’ll have a strong nation of where things are going by the end of the week. So we are in a wait-and-see mode for the time being…
