We got the latest interest rate decision from the Federal Open Market Committee on Wednesday, and the markets are ripping — particularly the Nasdaq.
The odds for an interest rate cut in March have now grown to about 70%.
I listened to his speech and while he still said the job isn’t done, and here’s the thing… I don’t believe we’ll get a rate cut that soon.
But regardless of what I think, it won’t affect how I trade.
The point being is that we must trade the market in front of us. The Dow is at an all-time high. And the S&P 500 is near its previous all-time high with the potential for a breakout. So we must trade that.
If we’re making new highs, it’s time to go long!
Meanwhile, home builders, COSTCO, and bonds are expected to impact the market, with potential positive outcomes for certain sectors.
