The Only Gold Support Between Here and $3,500 Is Breaking

I’ve been watching gold closely, and right now it’s consolidating at one of the most critical areas we’ve seen in a while. This isn’t just another line on a chart — it’s a decision point that could determine gold’s next major move.

Remember, I’m not big on exact levels. I’m big on areas. So far, this area is doing its job. Gold tested it, closed above it and is currently sitting right on the boundary.

As long as price continues closing above this zone, the support remains intact.

If that support breaks decisively, however, gold could face a much larger downside move. There is very little meaningful price structure to the left of the chart and no major support until roughly the $3,500 zone, a pretty big drop from Tuesday’s late afternoon price of $3,932.

A clean break could therefore create a vacuum where sellers remain in control and gold moves quickly through the relatively open space below.

This type of behavior isn’t unique to gold. Stocks, bonds and other liquid markets often consolidate around an important area before choosing a direction. When support fails and there is little nearby price history, the move can accelerate because fewer established zones exist where buyers might step in.

What I’m Watching for Next

One possible trajectory is for gold to move lower, bounce back to retest this key area from underneath and then turn down again. That’s common market behavior:

Former support can become resistance after a confirmed breakdown. That retest would help show whether sellers have truly taken control rather than price merely dipping below the area temporarily.

If the level holds, we’re looking at a different scenario. Gold could stabilize, reverse and begin moving higher. Right now, though, the market is still consolidating directly on the critical area, so neither outcome has been confirmed.

Patience Matters Here

This is the kind of setup where patience matters. Don’t jump the gun based on an intraday move or a brief break below support. Watch how gold behaves over the next few sessions, especially where it closes and whether any breakdown is followed by a failed retest.

If support holds and buyers reclaim control, the bullish setup remains alive. If gold closes decisively below the area and then fails to recover it, the path toward $3,500 becomes much more realistic.

Stay sharp, watch the price action and let the market show its hand before committing to a direction.

I hope that helps!

P.S. This Explosive Overnight Setup Will Change How You Approach Options

Here’s a quick question for you…

What would YOU do if you knew a class of options were heavily discounted and could explode overnight?

And it didn’t just happen once a month…

Or once a week…

But sometimes multiple times a day!

And by leveraging these underpriced options, you can target as much as a triple-digit overnight payout!

You see, the market makers tend to price certain options way below fair value.

It’s usually because the underlying stock has practically nothing going on for it.

However, by the time the algos catch up and reprice it the next day…

You could have caught a massive overnight explosion!

You don’t even need the stock to make a huge jump…

We’ve seen moves of just 0.9%, 1.3%, even 2.4% lead to options moves that like 103%, 128%, even 186% overnight!

Of course, we’ve had smaller moves and even losing trades, so no one can make trading guarantees.

But it shouldn’t take me more than a few minutes to show you how these explosion trades work…

And how you can jump in on the very next opportunity.
