Tariffs Fading, Stocks Rising: Why the Market Is Moving On From Trade Worries

by | Jun 9, 2025

Stocks are up slightly across the board as we begin a new week of trading, with a Tesla (TSLA) downgrade, rare earths, semiconductors, China-U.S. trade talks being the biggest catalysts.

The uncertainty around tariffs appears to finally be pricing itself into the market, which is a really positive thing. This doesn’t mean the market is set to make all-new highs but it could.

It mainly just means that when Trump mentions tariffs now, it’s unlikely to have as big an impact on the market as it would have a few months ago. Basically, it’s old news now and the market is moving on.

Bitcoin is starting to break out again and once the GBTC ETF rises above $86, it’s go time and a good time to buy.

I’ll cover all that, my daily hitlist of longs and shorts and more in this morning’s “Premarket Must Watch” video!
