The war seems to be priced in as the markets open higher despite Wednesday’s large attack on Ukraine — and more in Thursday’s stock market recap.
However, I still expect a degree of volatility. We have a lot of important reports being released throughout Thursday including factory orders, productivity and costs, jobless claims, the PMI Composite Final and the ISM Services Index.
The Federal Reserve also confirmed it will take action on raising interest rates, although not as aggressive as originally planned. This news had little impact on the bond market, which is still seeing a flight to quality as investors seek safer investments.
In this morning’s stock market recap video, you’ll discover which piece of Fed data is impacting the market right now… two major indicators to pay close attention to… which sector is starting to show signs of strength… major levels for all three indices… plus my top ETF complete with an option strike price.

Each Thursday, I’ll combine two of my favorite things into a big-money opportunity: options plays and ETFs. Using options, we can turn momentum analysis of a specific sector — or even an entire country’s stock market — into an actionable trade with double- or triple-digit upside potential. I’ll give you all the details you need to execute this plan.
