It’s going to be a low-volume week with the market closing at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday and not reopening again until Friday in observance of the Fourth of July holiday…
There are very few companies reporting earnings this week, Corona-maker Constellation Brands (STZ) the only one of note, and there won’t be any fund managers actually working on Friday. So we really just have 2 ½ days to trade this week, and things will get really quiet on Wednesday.
Don’t expect big moves — this is not a week to go crazy.
Crude oil, meanwhile, is making higher highs, and I like what I’m seeing. But I have zero interest in gold right now…
