I started filming today’s video and immediately had to stop to look into and then buy some Ebay calls that hit my News Flow Scanner…
Ebay reports earnings after the close on Nov. 7, and a big-money buyer stepped in to slam $172K on the Nov. 10 expiration, $38 strike calls for the online auction retailer.
With shares trading just under $39, this order gives me confidence that it’s a high-probability play that’s worth a shot — to me, at least.
It’s an earnings play that also gets PayPal earnings after the close today…
So as always, you must respect risk because if you hold through the earnings event, they could easily go to $0 on a miss, poor forward guidance or any number of things that can send a stock sinking after its report.
