In Thursday’s Blitz Daily, we take a look at discount retailer Dollar Tree as shares see a wave of bullish activity.
It’s been a fantastic week of trading as volume picked up after the institutional buyers got back to their desks.
And one of the biggest trades to hit the Blitz Tracker this week belongs to Dollar Tree.
Investment firm Stonebridge Capital Management added the retail name to its portfolio on its last round of buying. Shares responded positively to the news, surging as much as 2.8% from Wednesday’s closing price.
One bullish options trader got the scoop, dropping a massive $1.7 million bet on the June 17 $145 strike calls late Wednesday!
