Stop me if you’ve heard this one… the order flow has been HOT!
Trading has been AMAZING and my only complaint is also a familiar one… I just need to hang on to my trades and let them run a little longer!
We didn’t see much in the way of earnings flow Wednesday, though we did cover a UiPath (PATH) order in Tuesday’s edition of this newsletter.
But that doesn’t mean the flow was dead… not by any stretch!
In fact, with shares down about 1.8% on the day after a massive earnings bounce Monday, we saw a couple of interesting orders in Oracle (ORCL).
Oracle exploded from $114 a share on Friday to more than $130 Monday, leading to one of our biggest trade wins of the year in my Shadow Trader strategy!
And during Oracle’s earnings report, they said something interesting…
The company teased some sort of surprise coming next week involving Nvidia. If they end up announcing some sort of AI project, both stocks could explode yet again.
And a couple of bulls jumped on the dip and grabbed some July and August monthly expiration, $140 and $130 strike calls, respectively.
And wouldn’t you know… by the time this was written, an earnings play hit in SentinelOne (S), a stock I said could be a dark horse earnings play.
Today’s order, however, is actually a big-money put — it’s also short-dated. So, as I always say, respect the risk because that one will most likely go to $0 if wrong!
