After a decade-long freeze out, Advanced Micro Devices has once again earned an “outperform” rating from Bernstein Research — the firm’s highest rank.
A combination of strong performance history, a closing acquisition of cloud service chipmaker Xilinx, and the market’s recent pullback helped get the company back into Bernstein’s good graces.
The news helped pop AMD shares as much as 4.7% from Friday’s closing price and bullish traders were quick to pounce, sweeping up more than 31,000 contracts of the Feb. 25 $120 strike calls for over $488,000 in premium!
Of course AMD wasn’t the only name seeing outsized order flow Tuesday. I have two more top trades hitting Tuesday’s tape below…
