With markets being on holiday later this week, I’m using the time to analyze and prepare more assuredly for 2024.
One thing I’m looking at is which stocks have performed the best since the July high.
One surprise stock really stood out to me: U.S. Steel Corp. (NYSE: X) in the materials sector — it is on a roll.
Check out its price action from the year open. Notice the incredibly large volume in mid-August compared to the past two years on this daily chart. Volume gets even more impressive if you run a longer-term monthly chart — say about 20 years.
