Futures fell again after another losing week on Wall Street — and more in Tuesday’s stock market recap.
But I’m not concerned as much with where the indexes open as I am with where they close…
In the morning, the markets are largely reacting to data from around the world. But by the time they close, they’re reacting more to U.S. data. For the past few weeks — for the most part — we’ve seen lower opens and higher closes, and that’s a bullish sign.
We can also expect trading to be more subdued for the first few days this week as a lot of hedge funds and traders are still off following one of the biggest holiday weekends of the year.
The big report on the schedule this week will be the Federal Open Market Committee Meeting minutes on Wednesday. That will give us an idea if the Federal Reserve is having second thoughts about its planned interest rate hikes.
In this morning’s stock market recap video, you’ll discover whether volume will increase or decrease after a long holiday weekend… if the markets will continue to chop or begin trending… if volatility will fall and what it means for the market… a sneak peek at the action in the 11 major sectors… whether sectors are seeing a major sector rotation or a mild short-term move… which Fed report we can expect to move the market and why… plus the most probable scenario for stocks this week.

P.S. Have You Seen These Sectors?
There’s a handful of stocks that are still pushing higher and higher… They’re “in motion.”
Wall Street has been using this simple yet effective principle to grow riches for decades now.
Most folks who are looking at the stock market as a whole are probably debating throwing in the towel…
Because frankly they have no idea how much opportunity is really out there…
But there are opportunities to be found, right now! And I’m going LIVE at NOON EDT TODAY, Tuesday, July 5, to share how I’m uncovering these opportunities!
P.P.S. When it comes to trading, every second counts. And in choppy markets like these, often driven by headlines, stocks can make big moves in a flash.
