U.S. stock futures resumed sell-off mode this morning following Wall Street’s short-lived rally on Monday — and more in Tuesday’s stock market recap.
I know I’ve spent an awful lot of time talking about the iShares 20 Plus Year Treasury Bond ETF (Nasdaq: TLT) lately, but it has all of my attention right now because it’s been trading sideways. The bond market looks like it is ready to move higher. If that’s the case, it should slow down interest rate hikes, which will also give the market some potential upside.
This is super important because the broader market gets its clues, for lack of a better word, from the bond market…
But what most investors don’t realize is that the iShares Russell 2000 ETF (NYSEArca: IWM) and the Communication Services Select Sector SPDR Fund (NYSEArca: XLC) were the two assets that triggered the recent downward move after the bond market. So the fact that both of them haven’t hit lower lows while the other major indexes have is a positive sign for the market.
In this morning’s stock market recap video, I’ll show you the biggest factor driving the market right now… what to expect from volatility this week… meaningful resistance levels for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq… an update on Federal Reserve data and the global economy… the top sector and stocks… and the weakest sector and stocks.

P.S. The stock market’s recent sell-off has left many traders scrambling, but not me…
I’m playing the lows to my advantage…
That’s because I created a system with the initial purpose of being built for a bull market, but it ended up working even better in a crashing one!
And it’s led to some interesting trade opportunities that you need to see in order to believe.
So at 1 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, May 24, I’m hosting an educational training session to show everyone how it works.
P.P.S. When it comes to trading, every second counts. And in choppy markets like these, often driven by headlines, stocks can make big moves in a flash.
That’s why I want you to get my latest trading ideas and market updates as fast as possible. So I’m rolling out an all-new option for my students to receive trade alerts with Telegram!
Telegram allows me to get trade ideas, videos and watchlists to you in a matter of seconds.
