Biggest Threats and Opportunities Ahead of Huge Fed News

by | Dec 13, 2021

The holidays are coming up fast, the markets are gearing up for an eventful week — and more in Monday’s stock market recap.

As we do every Monday, let’s take a look at the biggest threats and opportunities for the week ahead. And this time around, there are a lot of them, largely in the form of official reports.

On Tuesday, we have the Producers Price Index, which tells us how much pressure industrial production faces from both inflation and ever-persistent bottlenecks.

Then on Wednesday, we have both the retail sales report and the Federal Open Market Committee announcement.

Retail sales are crucial because it makes up two-thirds of our economy. But more importantly, the FOMC announcement should  give us some direction on what the Federal Reserve plans to do in regards to its bond-buying program.

In this morning’s stock market recap video, you’ll learn about a surprising reading from market internals… the most likely scenario for the next few trading sessions… a heat map showing you the hottest sectors…technical analysis of the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq… a full update on the bond market and how Fed data is driving price action this week… and the biggest reports that could influence market action in the next few sessions.

Don’t forget to like and subscribe to our YouTube channel if you haven’t already so you can be notified as soon as we post our next video and see what other trade opportunities we’re paying close attention to!
