LIVE at 1PM: Kane & Roger target a potential 50%+ 0DTE trade on SPY
Stocks are down across the board again heading into the final trading day of the week, but it looks largely random at this point.
The Nasdaq is down the most, which is not a positive.
It’s also quadruple-witching day, and the start of a new quarter as far as pricing data — it’s time to reset our VWAP levels, replacing the Election Day VWAP on our charts.
The bond market (TLT) also cooled off Thursday, and it’s been in a choppy range along with the stock market, which are strongly correlated. TLT is however still in a long-term uptrend, and I believe the Fed will lower rates in July.
Now, that comes with a couple of caveats…
The CPI and PPI inflation data needs to continue improving, and we’ll need some resolution to all of these tariff and trade threats.
Once we get deflationary, that may turn things around, especially for small-cap stocks.
I still like gold but it’s starting to cool off and I’d love to see it come back down a bit, to around the $2,978 level, before considering new positions…
