Markets Subdued Ahead of Wednesday’s Big Inflation, FOMC Reports

by | Jun 11, 2024

Stocks are subdued ahead of Wednesday’s Consumer Price Index inflation data, and the next FOMC interest rate decision.

Volume has been super low ahead of CPI and the latest FOMC rate decision on Wednesday, which means it’s easy to manipulate directional bias. We should expect to see volatility pick up — it’s already up this morning — and volume may be higher today.

We also have Academy Sports (ASO) and Oracle (ORCL) earnings today, and ORCL is an important ticker that could impact other big names like Microsoft (MSFT), IBM (IBM) and others.

Broadcom (AVGO) on Wednesday could impact other chip stocks, and then Adobe (ADBE) comes on Thursday and deals more with the software aspect of the market whereas Oracle is hardware/non-chip.

Bonds (TLT) have been falling and I believe there’s more downside ahead… And the lower the bond market goes, the less likely we are to get a rate cut anytime soon…

I’ll cover all that, my daily hitlist of longs and shorts and more in this morning’s “Premarket Must Watch” video!

P.S. [Watchlist] 3 Stocks That Just Tanked That You Have to See

At different times this year, stocks like Tesla, Netflix and even IBM have tanked overnight…

Which is a great thing if you know how to trade gaps… because as they say, gaps are made to be filled!

I just so happen to have a strategy that trades these tanking stocks, and we’ve had unbelievable success so far in 2024, hitting on a win rate better than 91%

We also hit on 10 straight trade wins, and three more stocks just hit the scanner, signaling prime opportunities to catch a ride as they fill the gap higher.

We cannot guarantee future returns, but I’d like to rush these three tickers to you right away. So I’ll be live at 10 a.m. ET today, June 11, to cover them, and hand you the keys to this trading secret.

Hit that link below and join me at 10 o’clock for what will hopefully be our next big winners!
