A Big Week Ahead With ADBE, COST, ORCL, FOMC and CPI. Plus, Critical Levels to Watch

by | Dec 11, 2023

The market is looking for its next catalyst, and boy oh boy do we have catalysts coming…

This week will be filled with important events such as the latest Federal Open Market Committee and Consumer Price Index inflation report…

We also have earnings yet to come from Adobe, Costco and Oracle. Meanwhile, the bond market is showing volatility, and there are concerns about potential rate hikes.

The FOMC meeting concludes on Wednesday, and while we’re highly unlikely to get another interest rate hike right now, they could give us hints as to what’s next.

The bond market is showing volatility, with concerns about potential rate hikes in March.

Technology (XLK), interest rate-sensitive stocks, and speculative sectors are moving, while Consumer Staples (XLP) and Health Care (XLV) are showing mixed results.

In today’s all-new briefing…

I’ll discuss which stocks are ready to continue to lead higher and which ones are lagging behind… if tech will continue to outperform blue chips and for how long… if the Fed will really cut rates in March… if markets could make new highs today or consolidate ahead of the big reports… which stocks are reporting earnings this week and what’s the relevance?
