We’ve had quite a day after watching Thursday’s trades highlighted in this newsletter blast off on Friday!
Boring old International Business Machines (IBM) bounced over 2% this afternoon, and Walmart (WMT) topped a 1.1% move, sending those options for a nice ride, especially the weekly WMT calls that peppered the Penny Options Scanner!
And so far Friday, we’ve seen a flurry of short activity in a company that’s taken an absolute beating for about two years now: Boeing (BA).
From planes crashing, doors flying off mid-air and other horrors, to the company’s first strike since 2008, which employees voted 96% in favor of. The strike began at midnight, with workers walking off job sites.
Boeing was one of the best stocks in the world five and six years ago, topping out over $400 a share back in early 2019. But it’s been all downhill since around November that year…
These days, shares are trading around $156. The stock dipped another 5% overnight on the heels of the strike announcement before rising back to flat this morning.
Since lunchtime, it’s back down nearly 4%, and whales are gunning for it to fall even lower over the next couple of months…
The day’s first order came in the September monthly expiration, $157.50 strike puts, followed by the $147 puts near the end of lunchtime.
Then the biggest order of the day, about $334K in premium, hit 5 minutes later in the November $125 puts, with market makers anticipating a move of $22.95 higher or lower by expiration.
We also saw repeat flow in the GE Vernova (GEV) October and January $250 and $270 strike calls, respectively, with shares bouncing almost 6% (over $12) today.
These are definitely more expensive than we like, but also very odd orders in that we hardly if ever see this ticker hit.
And when we see multiple orders in a weird ticker, it catches our attention. So these could at least be worth adding to a watchlist for the next couple of months.
As always, respect that risk!

What’s Your Resolution for Next Year?
Each year, millions of people make new resolutions…
To lose weight, live healthier, make more money, etc. But how many people achieve these goals?
According to one study… A measly 8%!
And that’s not good!
So, if one of your goals for the next 12 months is to become a more proficient trader…
Or be able to find better stock market opportunities…
I think I have something that can help you achieve those goals.
And it’s called Platform X.
It’s a trading system I’ve been developing since I left my hedge fund.
It has a unique ability to sense opportunity before you can actually see it.
According to my research, it would’ve issued buy signals on NVDA, MSFT, META, and AAPL before they exploded.
And based on what Platform X is showing right now, a handful of stocks have just flipped bullish…
But the one I like the most is a cheap, $26 stock.
And while I can never promise future returns, I just posted a live session where I teach you how to use Platform X, plus give some of my favorite signals.
If you’d like to watch it…
