Back from the weekend and I’ve got some interesting market insights to share with everyone in today’s video…
The overall market might be taking a breather, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq showing little action today, but I’ve spotted some individual stock plays that are worth your attention.
In my latest video, I cover:
- Momentum Stock Watch: AppLovin (APP) and a few other names made some impressive moves today.
- Sector Rotation: There’s been a noticeable shift into crude oil stocks — are we seeing a flight to safety?
- Biotech Buzz: Some biotech stocks are lighting up the tape with unusual call activity. Could this be the next big opportunity?
- Avoid the Traps: Why I’m steering clear of big-cap tech like Apple and Amazon right now. Don’t get caught playing with fire!
If you want to know which stocks I’m eyeing and how I’m navigating this choppy market, you need to check out this video up top!
As for what’s hitting the scanners…
With shares tanking as much as 13% in early trading Monday, we saw a sizable bet in Upstart (UPST) that also captures the company’s next earnings event on Nov. 5, with a trader looking for a rebound.
We also saw an avalanche of flow into Intel (INTC), maybe the most orders we’ve seen in a day for a stock that isn’t Nvidia (NVDA).
Bullish traders piled into the September monthly expiration calls at the $21 and $21.50 strikes, with orders hitting both the News Flow and Penny Options scanners.
In fact, the Penny Options scanner saw ELEVEN orders in the course of just a couple of hours this morning into lunchtime.
These calls that expire this Friday have the potential to make wild moves, so respect that risk — they are quite “cheap,” which of course we love!

P.S. THE Ticker to Watch Head of Nov. 5
Each year, millions of people make new resolutions to lose weight, live healthier, make more money… you name it.
But how many people achieve their goals? According to one study…
A measly 8% — not great!
So…
If one of your goals for the next 12 months is to become a more proficient trader…
Or be able to find better stock market opportunities…
I think I have something that can help you achieve those goals. It’s not a special stock… It’s not a crypto coin… And it’s not a new weekly trade alert service…
It’s much bigger and much more useful than any of that.
It’s something that brings the power of a Wall Street trading system right to your home office or wherever you like to trade…
And it’s called “Platform X.”
It’s a trading system I’ve been developing since I left my hedge fund.
It has the unique ability to sense opportunity before you can actually see it.
And based on what Platform X is showing right now, a handful of stocks have just flipped bullish…
But the 1 I Like Most Is a Cheap $26 Ticker
