With the market showing signs of weakness, it could almost be time to party to the downside on out-of-the-money puts. Until we know for sure, I’m being very selective and sticking with the names that have worked…
Names with big numbers still in open interest.
For now, we closed out some Shadow Trader calls that doubled overnight in Vistra Corp., with the stock up over 6.5% Wednesday morning — bang!
Same with Suncor Energy… If you remember me talking about this multi-million-dollar trade recently, I actually added some calls late Tuesday, and the stock bounced over 1.4% less than an hour after the open.
Of course… I sold too early… such is my curse. But I have a plan and I stick to it — you must respect the risk!
I also had some nice trades on in Ziprecruiter puts, and some calls in Toast Inc. — which hit the scanner late Tuesday — as the stock ripped more than 20% at one point Wednesday!
As for today…
Wednesday’s Top Order Flow:
- Nvidia Corp. (Nasdaq: NVDA): Aug. 11, $440 CALL.
- Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd (Nasdaq: MLCO): September $13 CALL.
- Datadog Inc. (Nasdaq: DDOG): September $75 PUT.
- And more!
Note: If no date is listed after the month, it’s the monthly expiration (third Friday).

P.S. The Rubber Hit the Road for this Tire Company
In August 2022, Goodyear was neck deep in litigation.
Violating California’s Invasion of Privacy Act…
Worker injuries…
Exposing thousands of people to asbestos…
The list goes on and on…
When a company faces this much legal action, it’s NEVER good for the share price…
Yet in the midst of all this litigation, on Aug. 10, Goodyear’s transaction volume crossed the Knockout Line — the thin green line you see below…
In this low-volume environment… it stuck out like a sore thumb.
The large transactions were more than enough to send the share price skyward!
Creating a “Quick Flip” opportunity.
Just a few clicks of the mouse to place the trade…
And the next day, you could have pocketed an extra $577 from the Quick Flip from a $2,500 starting stake.
