If you missed out on Wednesday’s live “Trade the Close” event… Well, then you really missed out!
We took a trade in GXO Logistics (GXO) that hit just after 3:30 p.m. What is GXO? I’ve never heard of it, and I don’t really care. We are here to trade the flow, just like this…
And today… BANG! 🚀
GXO rose above 5.7%, and the calls went from around $1.25 to around $3.30 at the peak so far — that’s why we trade the order flow!
We clipped the video from our live session because I showed everyone exactly what to look for when trades just like this hit the News Flow Scanner…
You can’t draw this up any better, and we did it LIVE together, with over 600 people watching and hopefully trading this amazing play.
Check out the video up top for the full rundown, and all my thoughts and steps to confirm this was a good trade to take a crack at.
If you missed out, don’t worry… We are live trading the close at 3 p.m. ET every Wednesday this month, so there are more sessions to come — it doesn’t cost a thing to attend!
Now, what’s hitting the ol’ News Flow Scanner today?
With the big banks reporting on Friday, we saw a play in Wells Fargo (WFC), which reports before the open.
WFC obviously captures the company’s earnings event, but this is a weekly play that expires tomorrow. If wrong or the stock barely moves, this can and will go to $0 on the open.
So it’s always important to respect that risk.
We also included the WFC order from Wednesday just to show that it’s seen repeat buys. That one, however, is a little deeper in the money, with shares popping about 1.2% as of this afternoon.
We also saw a play in a name that rarely if ever hits the scanner… a short in Vornado Realty Trust (VNO), which is trading just above $28 a share today. This play does capture the earnings event on Aug. 5.
With shares popping nearly 7% today, this trader could be looking for the stock to give back some of those big gains.
We also saw what is most likely a spread trade in VNO hit right before lunchtime, with someone grabbing the August monthly expiration, $26 and $28 strikes calls right at 11:38 a.m.
Puts are often hedges against a long stock position should it tank on earnings, and the other two are likely a spread, so be careful out there!

P.S. What’s Next for Tesla Traders?
Aside from today’s swift fall on news that Tesla is postponing its Robotaxi unveiling to October, this stock has been on an absolute TEAR lately…
Soaring past $200 and up to $270 this morning before the news broke like a speed bump — and hopefully not a roadblock…
In fact, we’re already seeing a ton six-figure, bullish orders come through the News Flow Scanner…
Which indicates even more extreme price action could be on the horizon.
That’s why I pumped to show you how I’m approaching this Tesla trade.
As you’ll soon see, I’m using the same setup that’s delivered wins like 40.35%, 29.19%, even 23.23%… in as little as a single day!
Granted, everyone knows that we’ll have winners and losers, which is a fact of life in trading.
But based on my analysis, this TSLA setup could have some serious legs.
