As for today’s order flow…
Only Oracle (ORCL) reports earnings this week (after the close today). It’s a short bet in the Sept. 13 expiration, $135 puts with Oracle trading just over $142 a share this afternoon.
This is within the market maker’s expected move of $9.96 higher or lower, but keep in mind that puts are often hedges against long positions in the underlying stock in case it sinks on earnings.
We also saw a couple of orders in a ticker we rarely if ever see in Corebridge Financial (CRBG), and an order I shared this morning on Telegram in RH, which is actually the second order we’ve seen in this stock in the past week, both bullish.
And I wouldn’t bet against Gary Friedman, the RH CEO who bought $10 million worth of stock at the end of June! Yes, it’s a very expensive order, so just keep that in mind along with the risk involved!
