We already exited with a nice gain… But if you’re still holding any of those calls, you’re probably dancing in the street today with shares up over 9% — BANG!
Not only that, but we’ve seen several GameStop (GME) calls over the past several days, and the old king of meme stocks was surging nearly 6% this morning…
If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it 100 times…
That’s why we trade the order flow!
As for what’s been hitting the past couple of days in earnings on deck… I’m hosting a special Netflix (NFLX) earnings session at 2:30 p.m. ET TODAY, so don’t miss out on that!
We’ve seen a couple of bullish orders in J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT) this week, starting with a $136K bet in the July monthly expiration, $175 strike calls that are squarely in the money today with the stock surging over 3.2%.
The second order came today in the form of $168K in the November $200 calls… which is far out of the money at this point, with market makers expecting a move of $10.63 higher or lower this week, and a move of $27.54 higher or lower by November.
Can it make it there? Well, shares are nearly $18 higher in just the past week alone. But shares are only $82 higher over the past five years combined, so this isn’t exactly a big mover.
In fact, it’s been stuck in a current range of $148 to $175 since 2021.
We also saw a sizable order in Flywire (FLYW), which isn’t a ticker we’ve seen much if ever. A trader scooped up the August $20 calls, which do capture earnings on Aug. 6, with shares trading 4.3% higher this afternoon.
FLYW is down 19% year to date, but it’s up nearly 13% the past week, and up nearly 19% since bottoming in mid-June.
