Can the ‘Boring Banks’ Keep Up This Momentum Next Week?

by | Oct 11, 2024

>>> We could be on the brink of the next BIG Tesla bull run! <<<

As we head into the final close of the trading week, chip and bank stocks are catching a nice bid higher…

And we have a stacked deck of earnings reports coming next week, including more bank/financial earnings along with Netflix (NFLX), United Airlines (UAL) and a host of other names…

Speaking of banks, we saw short orders for Citibank (C ) and Bank of America (BAC) ahead of their premarket report on Tuesday. Both are in the money, which we generally like when it comes to puts…

But it’s hard to bet against banks after we saw the biggest of them all, JPMorgan (JPM), pop over 5% at one point this afternoon.

We usually like to call them “boring banks” because they don’t normally move much, so 5% is a hefty spike for a stock like this.

Wells Fargo (WFC) popped nearly 7% this morning as well, and the Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) topped 2%, so again…

It’s hard to bet against this momentum.

We did see some bullish flow into SoFi (SOFI), which reports on Oct. 29, so we included a few orders we saw this morning down below.

SOFI also popped as much as 3.6% today, so don’t chase!

We’ve also seen Wolfspeed (WOLF) pop big time today, over 22% at one point. We’ve seen one decent order for puts, so I may plan watch for some weakness and maybe hold some puts over the weekend.

And for a potential lotto ticket, the Trump stock has been on quite a tear, up nearly 60% the past week.

A trader snagged the Oct. 25 $30 calls. If you like Trump’s election chances, this could be a fun one — just beware because fundamentals aren’t the reason behind this stock’s move.

Could DJT continue rising into the election? Maybe…

Could it also see a sharp pullback after such a big move higher? It certainly could!

That’s why we always respect the risk involved in every trade!

P.S. Ready for the Next BIG Tesla Bull Run?

Tesla’s new bullish cycle could last for YEARS if another Trump presidency happens!

Plus, with Elon Musk throwing the full weight of his support behind the 45th and potentially 47th president…

It’s like bringing a flamethrower to a campfire!

As a matter of fact, my TSLA indicator — the same one responsible for 26 Tesla trade winners so far in 2024 — has just flipped green again…

This spells an astounding opportunity for folks who get in early.

Which is why on Tuesday, October 15rth I’m sharing my TSLA price target LIVE.

PLUS: How I’m trading the ticker leading up to the November elections.

So if you’d like to attend my live broadcast…

Of course, I can’t promise future returns or against losses…

But you can start preparing for the TSLA pre-election frenzy on the horizon…
