Calls Hit My Favorite Stock in the Strongest Sector on Friday

by | Aug 18, 2023

With Energy being one of the lone sectors moving higher in this market, one of my favorite stocks in the sector saw some call buying Friday…

I also saw some recent November calls in this name, ExxonMobil, and the chart looks great — which is becoming more and more rare in this market as selling has picked up.

We also saw some bullish bets in Nordstrom, which reports after the close on Thursday of next week…

They’re also in the money, but some trader — could be this one or another — has been whiffing on Nordstrom calls for the past couple of weeks as shares have steadily drifted lower and lower…

But calls keep hitting, so maybe the stock pops on earnings — we shall see!

That and more in today’s video up top!

Friday’s Top Order Flow:

  • Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM): Sept. 22, $116 CALL.
  • Nordstrom Inc. (NYSE: JWN): Aug. 25, $18 CALL.
  • AstraZeneca plc (Nasdaq: AZN): September $70 CALL.
  • And more!

Note: If no date is listed after the month, it’s the monthly expiration (third Friday).

P.S. Leverage the Most Powerful Forces That Move Stocks

I just released a new strategy that takes advantage of the most powerful force that moves stocks…

One that’s shown the power to hand over $500 or more in extra cash (based on $2,500 starting investment)…

Sometimes even when the S&P goes against you!

For example, back on April 3, the S&P 500 took a plunge… falling north of 1% in a single day.

The S&P 500 plunging

For most folks…That’s a bad day.

But anyone who knew about this new strategy could have placed a trade before the close.

Headed for the coast to go snorkeling in the afternoon.

Gone to your local steakhouse for dinner.

Then enjoyed a relaxing sunset on the dock…

And while everyone else was wondering WHY the S&P was in freefall, you could have come back the next morning to…

An extra $603 in the brokerage account!

And this isn’t just a one time thing, it’s happened again and again over the course of the past year.

It’s all thanks to a new strategy I just revealed to the public.
