Bulls Bet on Dr. Copper While Bears Take Aim at UPS

by | Aug 11, 2023

We closed up another wild week of trading Friday… But what big, unusual orders hit my personal options scanner?

Let’s start with UPS…

The United Parcel Service saw a couple of bearish bets hit the tape Friday, starting with an order in the August monthly $175 puts worth about $162,320 in premium.

We don’t see a lot of orders in UPS, but that’s not really enough to get my blood pumping…

BUT, less than an hour later, we saw another order, this time in the Aug. 25, $170 strike puts — worth $411K in premium…

Now we’re talking!

Consecutive orders in a name we don’t see often, with one of them being big-time premium, that’s the type of thing that turns my head!

And there’s more where that came from!

We also saw some orders in some Dr. Copper stocks, so check them out in the video up top!

Video Highlights:

  • 💰 Dr. Copper has seen significant trading activity with 300,000+ calls.
  • 📉 Puts in UPS have experienced notable price increases.
  • 💸 Nvidia day trades.

Friday’s Top Order Flow:

  • United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE: UPS): Aug. 25, $170 PUT.
  • Teck Resources Ltd Class B (NYSE: TECK): Sept. 22, $41 CALL.
  • Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (NYSE: FCX): September $43 CALL.
  • And more!

Note: If no date is listed after the month, it’s the monthly expiration (third Friday).

P.S. How I’m ‘Flipping’ Wall Street on Its Head

Early last year, there was a monumental shift in the markets…

One that made it nearly impossible for the average trader to have any sort of edge.

But this shift opened up a new door for regular folks to grab their slice of the millions, sometimes even billions of dollars going into specific stocks each day.

Targeting extra cash not in a month… not in a week… but in as little as just one day.

I call them “Quick Flips” because we FLIP some of Wall Street’s biggest transactions…

And turn them into trades targeting an extra $500 in cash or more (based on a $2,500 starting investment on each trade).

Just like this…

charts showing gains of $524, $760, $625 and $1,011 on a $2,500 investment.

Once you know what to look for… these Quick Flips couldn’t be easier to spot.
