What Wealthy Influencers Are Most Concerned About in the US Economy

by | Nov 15, 2023

Citi Private Bank released its Family Office Survey of Concerns prior to the outbreak of war in the Middle East. It displays what the wealthiest families are concerned about. I’ll leave it to you to review and draw your own conclusions while adding a few of my own.

Their top 3 concerns are inflation, interest rates and U.S.-China relations.

One thing I’ll add that not many are talking about is how Mexico just passed China in exports to the U.S.

My guess is they’re pretty happy about that — their stock market is, too.

The other thing I’ll add is that recent data supporting future inflation and interest rate steadiness is catching up to our predictions.

The last thing I’ll add is that Citi Private Bank and its customers are influencers.

If inflationary and interest rate fears subside like is currently apparent in recent price action, at what price will the year end for the broad markets?
